Great to meet you!

As a therapist (and a Dane), I take inspiration from the Danish word månebro : the bridge of moonlight that appears on calm water. I see my role as helping you to still your life's stormy waters so you can find your way to the light. Ever since getting my master's degree in counseling, I've worked with a diverse array of clients. I love helping people transform their lives while respecting and integrating what you have been through.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in centering you and your goals and concerns, where I let you lead the way — but I don't let you off the hook when it comes to healing and achieving the clarity and life you want. I use a number of different tools to help you develop the resilience, power, and strength you already have. These tools and skills range from exploring narratives about your life, to therapeutic tabletop roleplaying games, to using eye-movement therapy to process trauma.

What you can expect from our first session

I cultivate an atmosphere of hygge — Danish for coziness, warmth, and support — especially since I understand that what you struggle with may not be particularly cozy, to say the least. In this space and work, you will feel seen and heard as we work together to change your life.
