Milena Djuric

I am a double certified psychiatrist in General Psychiatry and Psychosomatic medicine. I also have a strong background in internal medicine which I practiced before my career in psychiatry. In addition to working with mental illness only, I enjoy working with patients with complex medical problems in combination with psychiatric illness. My expertise is psychopharmacology.

My goal is to establish a trusted relationship and supportive environment in order to help my patients to meet their needs, build coping skills, enhance their strengths and resolve symptoms. I strongly believe in compassionate and non-judgmental approach. I enjoy working with patients of all different backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations. My approach is patient-centered and individualized.

I often use cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal therapy in my practice. During our first session, we'll explore details of your current problems, previous psychiatric and medical history in combination with your background in order to establish diagnosis. Then we will discuss different treatment options and tailor specific plan which will best suit your needs.
