Great to meet you!

I’m a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing psychiatric care for adults in Massachusetts, both in person and via telehealth. I specialize in medication management and psychiatric evaluations for anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD/trauma, and bipolar disorder, interpersonal stressors, and overall life changes that make it hard to manage everyday responsibilities.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic, individualized, and culturally sensitive. I recognize that mental health is shaped by your identity, culture, values, life experiences, and other varying circumstances. I take the time to understand how these factors influence your mental health and from there, develop specific treatment goals. Treatment will always be collaborative, I will always provide information about treatment options, so you can make informed decisions that align with your needs and values. As circumstances or symptoms change, we can adjust the frequency and focus of visits based on what is clinically appropriate and works for you. My goal is to find approaches that feel doable for you and your individual needs, while also considering any barriers or circumstances that may affect your care.

What you can expect from me

During our intake, I will focus on getting to know you as a whole person, rather than symptoms alone. We’ll talk about your experiences, goals, values, and life circumstances that shape the person you are today. I’ll take the time to understand your perspectives and where you are in the process of making changes, so I can meet you where you are. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, but just as importantly, I’ll listen. Toward the end of our intake, we’ll talk about what feels most difficult or bothersome to you right now. From there, I’ll share my recommendations and we can figure out together what feels like the best place to start. Our first session together is centered around you so you can walk away feeling supported with a better understanding of where to start.
