Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Miles, a licensed clinical social worker practicing in Colorado and California since 2000. I see adults and adolescents by telehealth. Our work together is focused and practical; we name what's holding you back and build skills to manage it and keep it managed.

My approach to therapy

Most people who find me are capable adults who have run out of road. You have a good collection of ways to get through hard things. Work harder. Think harder. Stay busy. Solve the problem. Exercise. Compartmentalize. Have a drink. Tell yourself to get over it. A surprising amount of the time, those work. You are here because this time they haven’t

What you can expect from me

Our first session is real work; we'll set the stage and build the plan for our work together. We'll agree on goals up front, and you'll tell me what information I need to know; we won't fill out a form together. The first session is for you to decide whether we should work together; ask the questions that matter most to you.
