Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, suicidal thoughts, and major life transitions. Much of my career has been dedicated to crisis intervention and emergency mental health services, working with individuals during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

My approach is collaborative, direct, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I use treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients understand their challenges, build practical coping skills, and make meaningful progress toward their goals.

I believe therapy should provide more than a place to talk—it should help you develop the tools and confidence to move forward. Together, we'll create a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs, tracks your progress, and supports lasting change.

I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and welcome individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Whether you're recovering from a crisis or simply ready to make a positive change, I'm committed to providing compassionate, respectful, and effective care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe therapy should help you better understand yourself while providing practical tools you can use in everyday life. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, establish meaningful goals, and measure progress throughout treatment.

I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, substance use, suicidal thoughts, stress, grief, and life transitions.

My background in crisis intervention has taught me that healing is possible, even after life's most difficult experiences. Whether you're navigating a recent crisis or addressing challenges that have been affecting you for years, my goal is to provide a supportive, culturally responsive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal history, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. I'll ask questions to better understand your strengths, challenges, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being. Together, we'll identify your treatment goals and begin developing a personalized plan that fits your needs. My goal is to create a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. You'll leave the first session with a clearer understanding of the next steps and how we can work together toward meaningful progress.
