Dr. Mimose Marie Nelson

I, Mimose, am a non-judgmental and open-minded clinician, passionate about encouraging the upliftment of others' lives. My education includes a Doctorate degree in social work from Capella University, a master's degree in social work from Fordham University, a New York State license in clinical social work, and a clinical certification in hypnotherapy from the Wellness Institute, WA among others. I have decade of years of experience in helping clients find joy in their lives. Come and experience just one session with me, and you will not leave the same.

My approach to therapy, among others, includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to identify maladaptive thought pattern and behaviors; and psychodynamic therapy to highlight the influence of the unconscious mind and past experiences, causing emotional disturbances due to unresolved conflicts.

I create an environment that enables you leave the sessions we have, equipped with tools that you can use on your own to address stressful situations and unhealthy behaviors and cultivate an uplifting lifestyle.
