Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Min Kyoung. Many of my clients come to me carrying anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, or grief they’ve managed on their own for far too long. They want a therapist who truly hears them, who understands both the words they share and the emotions that sit underneath. Using CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, I help clients make sense of overwhelming feelings, build steadier patterns, and find relief. I also support couples - [Completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couple Therapy]. If you’re ready for a space where you feel seen, supported, and strengthened, I’m here to help you.

Evening time slots are open and available for sessions. I can accommodate the busy, full, limited-time days that we all wrestle with. Call or email me to schedule your first session or for a free 15-minute consultation. (Licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Colorado).

My approach to therapy

My goal is to empower you to feel confident in your decision before beginning ongoing sessions. I provide a compassionate space where you can explore challenges and work toward healing. In our work together, I draw on evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy, to collaborate with you in achieving positive and meaningful outcomes.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a safe and welcoming space where your story is heard without judgment. I’ll listen deeply to understand not just your challenges but the weight they carry in your life. Together, we’ll begin to unpack your experiences and create a blueprint that identifies where to focus for clarity and healing. This first step allows us to explore underlying patterns, uncover strengths, and start shaping a path forward. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling supported, understood, and with a sense of direction on how we’ll approach the work ahead.
