Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Union University. I work primarily with adults who feel overwhelmed by stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, or persistent emotional patterns they don’t fully understand.

My approach to therapy

Many of the people I work with appear to be managing life well on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or stuck. You may find yourself overthinking conversations, reacting more strongly than you would like, struggling in relationships, or repeating patterns you do not fully understand. Perhaps you're navigating a major life transition, feeling emotionally drained by ongoing stress, or wondering why certain situations seem harder to manage than they should be. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help adults better understand the underlying patterns that shape their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can move through life with greater clarity and confidence. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in both insight and practical change. I believe that meaningful growth happens when we begin to understand not just what we do, but why we do it. Together, we will explore the experiences, relationships, and beliefs that may be contributing to feelings of overwhelm while building tools to help you respond to life's challenges with greater intention and self-awareness. My goal is not to change who you are, but to help you better understand yourself and create a life that feels more manageable, balanced, and aligned with your values. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you're used to carrying things on your own. In our first sessions, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, what patterns you're noticing in your life, and what you hope will be different moving forward. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable showing up exactly as you are. Together, we'll identify meaningful goals and develop a path forward that feels both supportive and achievable.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll begin with introductions and talk about what has led you to seek therapy at this time. You’ll have space to share your concerns, experiences, and goals at your own pace.

We’ll also begin reviewing any assessments you’ve completed to better understand your responses and identify patterns that may be influencing your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This helps us build a clear starting point and create a plan that feels supportive and personalized to you.

Most importantly, the first session is about creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable beginning this process.
