Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience, including extensive work in inpatient psychiatric stabilization, crisis services, and dual-diagnosis treatment. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan.

My practice is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I am deeply committed to helping clients improve their emotional well-being, strengthen resilience, and achieve greater balance and fulfillment in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based. I believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—by integrating psychiatric medication management with lifestyle strategies, brief psychotherapy, and holistic interventions when appropriate, including nutrition- and vitamin-based support.

I value shared decision-making and work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and needs. Compassion, transparency, and collaboration are central to how I provide care.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a thorough and thoughtful psychiatric evaluation. We will explore current symptoms, mental health history, strengths, life stressors, and personal goals. I also take time to identify potential triggers or environmental factors that may be contributing to current challenges.

Together, we will begin developing a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, brief psychotherapy, holistic strategies, and wellness-focused recommendations. The first session is designed to feel supportive, structured, and collaborative, setting the foundation for ongoing care and long-term emotional well-being.
