Miquia Thompson

My name is Miquia Thompson. I am a highly experienced mental health professional with over a decade of clinical experience. I hold a master degree in Mental Health Counseling and obtained my state licensure in Florida after completing my graduate studies.

Throughout my career, I have specialized in various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) at the basic certification level. My expertise allows me the opportunity to support clients in managing a wide range of mental health challenges, equipping them with effective coping strategies and tools for long-term well-being.

My hopes are that clients leave therapy feeling more self-aware, emotionally equipped, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. I strive to provide clients with the tools to manage their mental health independently, build meaningful relationships, and create a sense of balance and fulfillment in their lives.
