I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who has been practicing for twelve years after receiving my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My clinical area of expertise is treating survivors of abuse and trauma.
My approach to therapy is a collaborative process of assessment, treatment planning and meeting the client's goals for growth and change. I take a humanistic approach and utilize therapeutic techniques from various approaches including Attachment-focused therapy, CBT, DBT, EFIT and EMDR. I am also trained in Christian Counseling and incorporate the client's faith and beliefs, according to their wishes.
Clients will feel heard and clear about their goals for therapy, which often includes learning new skills.
