Great to meet you!

Hey! I am Miranda! Glad you are here! As a board-certified psychotherapist and social worker, I believe prioritizing mental health is key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step!

I’ve been practicing for 16 years. I have significant experience in working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, trauma, addictions, relationship issues, military issues, aging, and have worked with both adults and adolescents.

I have been at the VA for the past 13 years. Prior to that I worked at an inpatient psychiatric unit, cancer center, and did hospice for a couple of years.

My approach to therapy

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way

What you can expect from me

At our initial session, you will have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and be vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
