Great to meet you!

My goal as a therapist is to help you work through your your issues, address your inner needs and achieve your goals. I help you focus on what is most important to you by providing you a safe space to explore, express and examine the areas of your life that have been causing you stress or discomfort. Once you find a therapist that works for you and you feel comfortable, being able to open up is the easy part.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Solutions Focused/Problem solving; Goals focused; Affirming/Validating care; along with supportive, person-centered approach, rooted in CBT/DBT principles

What you can expect from our first session

Judgment free zone and safe space!!

I like to do a check in with all of my clients at the start of the session to review the past week and discuss what was discussed in the previous session.

We will discuss any homework assignments and if they were completed and how you felt about them. Then we will discuss any new issues/needs that you are presenting with; if nothing, new, we will focus on developing skills to help you focus on moving forward to support you with your goals.

Miranda's style is
