As a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with nearly two decades of experience, I am passionate about helping individuals overcome challenges and create meaningful change in their lives. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families in residential, outpatient, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, crisis settings, and within private practice, supporting clients through a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns.

My experience includes working within the adult and juvenile criminal justice systems, child welfare systems, courts, correctional facilities, community-based programs, and private practice throughout Southwest Florida. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work with individuals facing complex life circumstances, trauma, and systemic challenges.

I specialize in treating stress, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, adjustment disorders, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to the unique experiences that have shaped who you are. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life. Together, we will identify your strengths, build practical coping skills, and work toward lasting emotional well-being.

In our work together, we’ll explore patterns that may be contributing to challenges or keeping you feeling stuck, while developing greater insight, resilience, and self-compassion. My goal is to help you navigate life’s demands with confidence, respond more effectively to difficult emotions and situations, and create sustainable growth that aligns with your values and goals.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll talk about your life experiences, the challenges or concerns that led you to seek therapy, and what you’d like to achieve. Together, we’ll develop 1–3 personalized goals to help shape our work and ensure therapy is focused on what matters most to you.
