Great to meet you!

My name is Miranda Solis, M.S., NCC, LPC-S, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Supervisor helping individuals navigate life’s most complex emotional and psychological challenges. Since beginning my counseling career in 2016, I’ve worked with young adults, couples, and families, with a strong focus on supporting LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities.

I have extensive experience working with individuals navigating autism, ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, grief, identity exploration, and major life transitions. I provide an affirming, sex-positive, and kink-aware space where all identities and relationship structures are respected and supported.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with minors in Sociology and Philosophy, and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Before entering private practice, I spent nine years in higher education counseling college students through pivotal developmental and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s unique story. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Relational-Cultural Theory, all within a person-centered framework.

I view therapy as a collaborative journey. Rather than positioning myself as the expert on your life, I walk alongside you—helping you identify patterns, build insight, reconnect with your strengths, and develop practical tools for growth and healing. My approach balances evidence-based strategies with relational depth, ensuring that you feel both supported and empowered.

Above all, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from our work together, and any concerns or questions you may have about the process.

My goal is to ensure you feel heard and respected from the very beginning. Together, we’ll begin identifying meaningful goals and discussing a path forward that aligns with your values and needs. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply seeking growth, you don’t have to navigate it alone—I’m here to support you in reclaiming your mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
