Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Miranda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship stress, and self-esteem challenges. My background includes community-based mental health, higher levels of care, and supporting clients through complex family dynamics and emotional recovery.

My approach is compassionate, direct, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel safe but also productive. Together, we’ll identify patterns, build practical coping tools, strengthen boundaries, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, navigating a major life transition, or simply ready to invest in your growth, I provide a supportive space where you can process openly and develop the skills to move forward with confidence.

Healing is not about being perfect — it’s about becoming more aligned with who you are and how you want to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported — while also being gently challenged to grow.

I use an integrative approach tailored to each client’s needs. This often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, trauma-informed care to process past experiences safely, and strengths-based techniques to build confidence and resilience. For clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or life transitions, we focus on building coping tools that are realistic and sustainable.

I also place strong emphasis on boundaries, emotional regulation, and self-awareness. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we work to understand those patterns, develop healthier responses, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Therapy with me is both supportive and goal-oriented. You can expect empathy, honesty, and a space where growth feels possible — not forced.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and judgment-free space where we focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background, and any goals you may already have in mind.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once. The first session is about building comfort and clarity. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, patterns, and strengths, while also giving you space to ask questions about the process.

Together, we’ll begin identifying priorities and outline initial goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction.

Therapy is a partnership, and from the very beginning, I want you to feel safe, respected, and empowered in the process.
