I'm so happy to meet you here. My name is Mireille (Mimi) Etienne, and I am a licensed mental health counselor based in Atlanta–Decatur, Georgia (also licensed in New York) with over two decades of clinical experience. I earned her BA in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University and her MA in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University’s Georgia School of Professional Psychology. I am looking forward to being your co-traveler on your wellness journey!
I used primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), alongside eclectic, solution‐focused, mindfulness-based methods, to help clients explore and reshape core beliefs, reduce emotional distress, and build mental resilience. I specialize in addressing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, life transitions, parenting concerns, and military-related issues.
I bring the human aspect of me to every session which means I brings warmth, empathy, and deep clinical skill to my practice. I empower my clients as their “flashlight,” guiding them toward self-awareness and well-being in a safe, supportive space. Whether working through anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, or parenting challenges, I am dedicated to facilitating meaningful growth and balance in my clients’ lives.
