Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Miri Salamone Burnett, and I'm here to be a direct, compassionate, and collaborative partner in your journey toward change.

I specialize in helping adults, elders, couples, and families who are struggling with Trauma, Stress disorders, navigating Addiction and Recovery, and addressing complex Mood and Relationship Challenges (including anxiety, depression, grief, and family conflict). My goal is simple: to help you move past what’s holding you back and build lasting resilience. I offer services in English and intermediate Spanish.

My approach to therapy

My approach is goal-oriented and specifically tailored to your needs, using proven, evidence-based methods.

I integrate powerful techniques like EMDR for trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for changing destructive patterns, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to identify your strengths and foster rapid progress. You can expect our sessions to be a supportive and direct space where we actively work together to create measurable change and develop new, effective coping skills.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a low-pressure opportunity for us to connect and establish a strong foundation.

You can expect me to ask clarifying questions to gain a deeper understanding of your history, your current concerns, and what you hope to achieve. We’ll discuss your specific goals and begin to outline a clear, actionable path for our work together. By the end of the session, you should feel heard, hopeful, and know the very first steps we'll take toward your healing and growth.
