Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor, I bring more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. As a bilingual (English/Spanish) Therapist, I strive to create a welcoming space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.

My experience in schools, private practice and correctional settings has allowed me to work with individuals facing anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, stress, life transitions, and relationship concerns. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.

I believe healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and respect. My goal is to help clients develop practical tools, gain insight, and build resilience so they can create meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I work alongside clients to identify their goals, understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop healthy coping skills that can be applied in everyday life.

I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches to help clients manage anxiety, stress, trauma, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. I also draw from my experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds to ensure therapy is personalized and meaningful.

As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a culturally responsive environment where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves. My goal is to empower clients to build on their strengths, overcome challenges, and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

What you can expect from me

I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, so I work to make the first session as comfortable and supportive as possible. During our time together, we'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the experience.

My approach is collaborative and client-centered. You can expect a safe, respectful space where you will be listened to without judgment. We will explore your strengths, discuss your goals, and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you.

You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. My role is to meet you where you are, help you gain clarity, and provide support and practical tools as we work together toward positive change.
