Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting people through some of life's hardest moments — from children with autism and youth in foster care, to immigrant families navigating complex systems, to individuals in crisis. As a first-generation Mexican American, I bring cultural humility, deep warmth, and fully bilingual care (English/Spanish) to every session. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I take seriously the trust you place in me by showing up. I'll never rush you or hold you to where you "should" be — I follow your lead, always.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered at its core: you are the expert on your own life, and my job is to meet you exactly where you are. I draw on evidence-based methods — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Play Therapy, and Crisis Intervention — and weave them together with genuine empathy and, when the moment calls for it, a touch of humor. I understand that healing from trauma requires safety above all else, and that trust is built slowly, gently, and on your terms.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about you feeling seen and comfortable — not evaluated. I'll take time to get to know you, understand what brought you here, and learn what matters most to you. There's no pressure to share more than you're ready to. We'll talk about what you're hoping for and begin building the kind of trust that makes real work possible. Whether you come in feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or somewhere in between, I'll be right there with you — ready to echarle ganas together.
