Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Brooklyn, NY with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. In my private practice, I specialize in relational trauma, attachment patterns, anxiety, and long-standing emotional and relationship struggles. I often work with thoughtful, self-aware adults who have been in therapy before and are looking for deeper, more lasting change.

Before entering private practice, I spent nearly a decade providing clinical services in supportive housing settings for seniors and formerly homeless individuals, where I worked extensively with trauma, complex PTSD, and the long-term impact of relational stress.

My advanced training includes Somatic Experiencing® and the Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), both of which focus on healing trauma and early relational patterns at their roots. I am also a certified mindfulness teacher, and mindfulness informs my clinical work in a grounded and practical way.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational, experiential, and somatically informed.

Many people I work with understand their patterns intellectually but still feel stuck. In therapy, we focus not only on insight, but on how your nervous system and early relationships continue to shape your present experience.

I integrate Somatic Experiencing and NARM to help gently shift relational trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, and self-critical patterns. This means we may slow down and notice what is happening in your body and emotions in real time, rather than only analyzing situations from a cognitive level.

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced thoughtfully. The goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you feel more grounded, more flexible in your responses, and more connected in your relationships.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and determine whether we’re a good fit.

We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve tried before (including prior therapy, if applicable), and what feels stuck or unresolved. I may ask questions about important relationships and early experiences to better understand the larger picture.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. There is no pressure to share everything right away. My aim in the first session is to create a space that feels steady, respectful, and collaborative, so you can begin to get a sense of what working together would be like.
