Great to meet you!

Who am I? I am a mom, a wife, friend, and daughter. I am also a teacher and a provider. I have a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. When I am not providing clinical services, I am teaching graduate students how to become excellent psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners.

I have been working in the mental health field for 20 years. I have provided psychiatric care in the hospital setting, outpatient clinic, nursing home, and in jail and prison. I have worked with people from 2 years old to 102 years old, active duty service member, veterans, and their families. I care for people who experience crises, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance use, bipolar, psychosis, trauma, obsessions, tic disorders, ADHD, autism, sexual dysfunction, serious mental illness, and more.

It has been my privilege to stand shoulder to shoulder with people who are on the road to healing. It will be my privilege to know and work with you.

My approach to therapy

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for people of all ages. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in both clinical expertise and careful listening.

I have a strong foundation in the pathophysiology of psychiatric disorders and symptoms, and use this knowledge to guide precise, individualized treatment planning. When prescribing medication, I do so with great deliberation — selecting options that maximize therapeutic benefit while minimizing potential side effects. Treatment decisions are made collaboratively and adjusted thoughtfully over time.

What you can expect from me

Patients describe me as authentic, transparent, and nonjudgmental. I prioritize creating a respectful space where you feel informed, empowered, and actively involved in your care.

My goal is to combine scientific rigor with a human, open-hearted approach so you can move toward greater stability, clarity, and well-being.
