I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I hold a Master's degree from Edinboro University in Counseling and Art Therapy. I have many years of experience helping families and individuals thrive and grow as an educator, camp director, and therapist. I am certified in EMDR and DBT and have also received advanced training in areas such as IFS, and EFT.
I see therapy as a tool for helping people who are interested in making positive changes in their lives and are looking for support and/or guidance to help make it happen. I build a strong, working relationship with my clients where they feel understood, respected and know that I have their best interest in mind.
Our first session is where you will be able to ask all your questions and learn a little bit about how I do things. I will want to know what your past experiences in therapy have looked like. What helps you? What doesn't? After hearing what your goals are and what you have already tried using to achieve them, I will give you honest information about your options, so you can make and educated choice about your care.
