Great to meet you!

I’m a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker who focuses on trauma‐informed care for adults experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or PTSD. My path into social work began with the support I received from school social workers, and I’ve continued in this field because I’ve seen how therapy can create a ripple effect of healing in people. I bring experience from clinical and social service settings and work with you to make therapy feel approachable, safe, and meaningful.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma‐informed and individualized. I don’t believe in a one‐size‐fits‐all model, so we’ll work together to find what fits you best. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand and shift unhelpful thought patterns, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to process traumatic or distressing experiences. I balance empathy and warmth with an objective, solution‐focused lens so that our sessions feel supportive while still moving you toward concrete change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll start with a conversation to get to know you and what brought you to therapy now. I’ll ask some background questions about your history, current stressors, and what you’d like to change or understand better. From there, we’ll begin to outline initial goals and talk about how we might work together, including which approaches (like CBT or EMDR) could be a good fit. My priority in that first meeting is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and clear about what our next steps will be.
