Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I have experience in both medical and mental health settings. I have been helping people in the field of mental health since 1999. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship issues. My approach is psychodynamic and relational, helping clients explore underlying patterns while building practical tools for coping and growth. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we will work to deepen your self-understanding and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in a psychodynamic framework, where I help clients explore underlying patterns, past experiences, and emotional processes that shape their current thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. I believe that gaining insight into these deeper layers can create meaningful and lasting change.

At the same time, I integrate practical, evidence-based techniques to support clients in the present moment. I incorporate mindfulness to increase awareness and grounding, EMDR to help process and heal from past trauma, and coping strategies such as tapping and positive psychology to build resilience and emotional balance.

I strive to create a safe space where clients feel supported in exploring both the past and present, while also developing tools to navigate life with greater confidence, clarity, and well-being.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and collaborative environment where they can begin to share their story at their own pace. We will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss any current challenges, and identify initial goals for our work together. I will also ask questions to better understand your background, relationships, and emotional experiences so I can gain a fuller picture of your needs.

I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and respected, while also beginning to identify areas of focus and potential outcomes such as increased self-awareness, improved coping skills, and relief from distressing symptoms. By the end of our first meeting, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction and how we can work together moving forward.
