That psychotherapy is a journey of many uncharted territories always ending in beautiful destinations, if we allow the process- even if it may be somewhat challenging or painful at times. I have learned this throughout, almost, three decades of work, research and studies with Children, Teenagers, Young Adults, Middle Age, Seniors, Individuals, Couples and Families that I have the Honor and Privilege to meet and work within my Specialties.

As a Mental Health Counselor, Mirza Lugardo, LADC-I, LMHC, CAGS performs assessments and diagnostics, psychotherapy, treatment planning, and crisis management. Mental Health Counseling is flexible, consumer-driven therapy that combines psychotherapy with practical, problem resolution strategies. Significant diseases and conditions treated by Mental Health Counselors include substance abuse, anger management, bullying, depression, anxiety, relationships, self-image, and LGBTQ issues.

Clients can expect to know from the initial session if we are able to connect and work together, if we are able to engage in a journey of discovery, growth and learning together in a non-judgemental, supportive, and safe place.
