Great to meet you!

Misty will greet each person with kindness and gentleness, providing a safe and trusting environment for each client to achieve what they are seeking through counseling. Offering Therapy is her second career, built from passion to serve. She received her Masters degree and passed the state board exam to earn her professional license in Georgia, practicing since 2019. Misty calls herself a "homework" therapist, without grading your homework.

My approach to therapy

Misty's approach to therapy includes various evidence-based theoretical models to work with you regarding trauma, anxiety, life-stage challenges, grief, couples, marriage, pre-marital, and everyday life challenges. She offers Christian bible-based counseling combined with clinical techniques.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to discuss administrative information during the first session, as well as a gathering of symptoms, family of origin, hobbies, and any other information you are comfortable sharing with someone you have just met, for Misty to learn your reason for therapy. Over time, Misty will direct each client to their goals for treatment and gently challenge when necessary, or listen
