Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from University of Kentucky. I have experience providing individual counseling to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues and family challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate and strengths-based. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), while tailoring treatment to each person's individual needs and goals. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can better understand yourself, work through challenges and build coping skills for moving forward.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll take some time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy and what you would like to work on. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, your background, and what you hope to get out of counseling. We will work together to identify goals and develop a plan that works for you.

You can expect a supportive, judgement-free environment where you can be yourself and share only what you're comfortable with.
