Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Misty, and it’s truly an honor to partner with you for restored hope, peace, and connection. Whether you desire to improve your ability to communicate with people in your life, become more positive toward yourself and your future, or heal from hurt, I'm here to help you recognize your worth and experience the growth you are striving for.

I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker 7 years ago and have been working in the social work field for 18 years. I have experience working with adults, teenagers, and individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as those struggling with anxiety and depression.

My approach to therapy

I utilize primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. My approach is supportive, strengths-based, and goal-oriented. I help clients navigate trauma, attachment issues, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and more—sharing strategies that can be practiced in between sessions. Taking these steps to a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

What you can expect from me

During our initial session we can explore your current successes and challenges and identify goals you would like to achieve with support in therapy. We can cover the therapy schedule we can create as well as tools you can utilize in between appointments.
