Great to meet you!

I have been a psychotherapist over 34 years to individuals & couples. I address hurt, sadness, anger, anxiety & depression & the loss of emotional contact in your vital relationships. Painful loss can arise from traumatic shock, & from the non-traumatic experiences of growing up. I can help you identify your true needs, so that you can repair your connection with those you love. Healing is in the therapeutic relationship & the skills I can teach you that can enable you to live a freer life.

My approach to therapy

I use Integrative Psychotherapy to address the disruptions to emotional contact that lead to a loss of both a feeling of well being and important relationships. The therapy integrates emotions, thoughts processes and behaviors, so that clients are able to make positive changes in their feelings, thoughts, activities and relationships.

What you can expect from me

I'm a therapist because I naturally feel empathy & want to hear your story. I specialize in the effects of severe trauma, whether from childhood or adult experiences. I have treated first responders & healthcare professionals for the effects from disasters (such as 9-11) & from their ongoing work. I also have helped couples work through the complex conflicts that arise in close relationships. You can expect me to listen & be an empathic guide in your journey toward healing.
