Great to meet you!

Tried the usual answers and still feel stuck, scattered or not quite like yourself? As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I pair 20 years of private counseling experience with a career that began in genetics at Oregon State, then nursing at the University of Miami (go Canes!) and critical care at the University of Kentucky, before earning my MSN at Gonzaga, to help people find care that fits their biology, their story and their goals.

I see ages 10 and up, including families, first responders, healthcare workers, and people impacted by foster care or adoption. I help with sleeping challenges, anxiety and depression, ADHD, burnout and work stress or trauma, painful life experiences, men's health and wellness, adoption and attachment challenges, and adjusting to a new country or culture.

I welcome conversation about faith, religion, or spiritual growth, alongside feeling stuck or unsure of your path.

My approach to therapy

My functional psychiatry training in Portland, Oregon shapes every visit: we look at sleep, stress, nutrition, relationships, and goals.

When it helps, lab work and genetic testing like GeneSight guide my medication and supplement choices (insurance coverage varies). I prescribe medication, including stimulants, when an evaluation shows it's the right fit.

Nearly two decades of deep conversations have shown me how our past and patterns shape how we feel. You always have a say in your plan, and I'm happy to work with your therapist or doctor.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit lasts 60 minutes, and longer visits are available. We'll talk about what brought you in, your history, and what you want. Expect a calm, judgment-free space and clear answers in plain language. Family members are welcome to join, and sessions are available in English or Spanish. You'll leave with a clear plan and next steps that fit your goals. I tend to participate in your story by asking questions.
