Great to meet you!

I started my formal counseling training in 2020 through the Trevor Project and completed my master of social work in 2023 through Indiana Wesleyan University before reaching full licensure in 2026 in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I care deeply for mental health in our community, especially for queer/LGBTQ+ folks whose wellbeing has historically been neglected and abused. I help clients to move beyond beliefs of self-hate and doubt to feelings of love and celebration through self-compassion and healing past pain. We develop strategies to replace old coping mechanisms that are no longer helpful or never were.

My approach to therapy

My therapy style is relatively informal and combines different therapy models as we tackle challenges related to sex and sexuality, gender identity, interpersonal relationships, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and more. I believe we are all more than the worst things we have ever thought about ourselves. You are the expert of your own experiences—I am just here to help you connect the dots!

What you can expect from me

You can expect unconditional positive regard, meaning I show care, empathy, and support, regardless of any guilt or shame you might feel about past mistakes or taboo topics.
