Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and my practice focuses on comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up care. I bring more than 14 years of experience in emergency and trauma-related care to my work in mental health. That background has shaped my approach: I value careful assessment, safety, clear communication, and staying steady when life feels overwhelming.

I work with concerns including anxiety, panic, PTSD, depression, mood changes, ADHD and focus difficulties, trauma-related symptoms, sleep disruption, burnout, and other mental health challenges.

I believe mental-health treatment should be based on your clinical needs, goals, and preferences—not dictated by administrative barriers or one-size-fits-all expectations.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and centered on the whole person—not just a diagnosis or prescription. During the first visit, we will discuss your symptoms, history, goals, current medications, lifestyle, and the factors affecting your mental health. If medication is appropriate, I will clearly explain the benefits, risks, alternatives, and follow-up plan so you can make an informed decision. You can expect a supportive, judgment-free space and practical recommendations tailored to your needs.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a comprehensive, conversation-based evaluation focused on understanding what brings you in and what you would like to change. We will discuss your symptoms, mental-health and medical history, current medications, daily stressors, sleep, relationships, and previous treatment experiences. You can expect a calm, respectful, and judgment-free environment where there is time to ask questions and share at your own pace. By the end of the visit, we will identify clear next steps and develop an individualized plan, which may include medication recommendations, therapy referrals, lifestyle supports, further assessment, or follow-up care.
