Great to meet you!

My name is Mitchell Mathews, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working in the field for the past 6 years. I worked specifically with women and reproductive health for the past several years. My patients often experienced infertility issues, the loss of a child and emotional distress due to parental setbacks. I currently provide therapy to Men, Women, Couples and Teenagers.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach to therapy which helps patients in two parts. First we will examine and understand how past experiences impact your current situation. Second with our new understanding we will apply unique and specific interventions aimed at alleviating problem symptoms. I have notable experience with crisis intervention, and apply the same sense of urgency while supporting you.

What you can expect from me

I feel rewarded as a clinician when a patient tells me that our time together has positively impacted their life. My hope is that you leave each visit with tangible and effective strategies to help reach your goals. Honesty and reflection on your part and mine will allow for change to happen. I'm excited to get connected and see if we will be a good fit.
