My professional background in clinical social work prepares me to help you achieve your success. I have worked with 100s of clients in individual, family, and group practice.
I received my Master of Social Work - as well as a research PhD in Social Work - from University of Maryland. I have presented and published and feel free to look me up on Google Scholar.
My approach to working with clients is twofold. I serve as your copilot as you develop a stronger "you" in therapy. I also serve as one of your biggest cheerleaders in rooting for your success!
I draw on Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
My goal is that clients have a new insight after each therapy session. I hope my clients feels empowered after every single session.
