Great to meet you!

Having retired from military service, I bring a grounded, resilient, and compassionate approach to clinical social work. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) specializing in Substance Use Disorders (SUD), trauma, anxiety, and depression.

In my work within residential treatment centers, I collaborate closely with clients navigating complex emotional challenges and entrenched defense mechanisms. I focus on building emotional intelligence, distress tolerance, and mindfulness-based coping strategies. Working alongside individuals in high-risk transitions, my goal is to help clients dismantle barriers, heal from relational and historical trauma, and cultivate sustainable balance and intrinsic purpose in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy centers on cultivating deep awareness of maladaptive behaviors and cognitions. By examining these patterns through curiosity rather than criticism, we work together to foster genuine self-compassion and non-judgmental acceptance—toward both yourself and others—creating a solid foundation for sustainable growth and emotional healing.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we start by meeting you exactly where you are today. Together, we will explore your unique strengths, current challenges, and values to build a collaborative, tailored treatment plan designed to support your personal goals and guide your path toward lasting emotional balance.
