Great to meet you!

Welcome. I graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1993 with a BS in Family Psychology. Since then I have worked in multiple types of behavioral health settings. In 2017, I graduated from Antioch University with my Masters in Counseling. I have committed myself to being a life-long learner whether that relates to counseling or DIY or history.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I approach therapy with a laid-back demeanor, curiosity, and a place of acceptance. I utilize techniques and interventions to improve sleep, stress management, relationships (both with ones self and others), self-esteem & healthier coping choices. These come primarily from Mindfulness, CBT, Family Systems with some interventions informed by DBT and ACT. I pride myself in creating an exercise or activity for my clients' needs.

What you can expect from our first session

I have helped clients improve sleep and mood including anxiety and depression. These & other outcomes often spillover into their performance in work and school, improved relationships, general sense of self, and increased life satisfaction.
