Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Moe! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Connecticut and have experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, disordered eating, body image concerns, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My background includes residential and outpatient mental health settings, where I’ve supported individuals working through complex emotions, challenging experiences, and patterns that leave them feeling stuck. I’m passionate about helping people better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and discover healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. Above all, I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about what’s difficult; it should be a space where you can explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and develop meaningful tools for change.I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and attachment-based therapy. Whether we’re processing trauma, navigating obsessive thoughts, exploring your relationship with food and body image, or working through difficult relationships, I aim to meet you where you are without judgment or pressure.I value authenticity, curiosity, and even humor in the therapeutic process. You don’t need to have all the answers before starting therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, feel empowered to explore what’s holding you back, and build confidence in your ability to grow.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel a little intimidating, especially if you’re not sure what to expect, and that’s completely okay! Our first session is really about getting to know each other, understanding what brings you to therapy, and exploring what you hope to gain from our time together. We’ll talk about your experiences, current challenges, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once.I believe building a genuine connection is one of the most important parts of therapy, so we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You’re welcome to ask questions, share concerns, or even tell me if you’re unsure where to begin. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful about what comes next.
