As a graduate of Missouri State University’s Counseling program, I am a person-centered counselor. I believe that all those who seek therapy have a desire to bring themselves back into balance. Although I see individuals of all ages, I specialize in children between the ages of 3 and 10 addressing their needs using child-centered play therapy.
Every person seeks therapy with their own needs and goals in mind. When we begin a therapeutic relationship, I will meet you where you are and walk with you on that therapeutic journey. Transparency, respect, unconditional acceptance, and open communication are cornerstones in that relationship. I will work with you, helping you to challenge yourself and become the person you seek to be.
During our first session we will spend some time getting to know each other. You will have the opportunity to share your concerns and the goals that you wish to achieve through therapy. In the warm safe environment of my therapy space, I will share with you an outline of what therapy with me will look like and explore all the possibilities therein. We will work together to create a plan that works for you.
