Great to meet you!

I bring warmth, authenticity, and compassion to my work. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine human connection. I strive to meet clients where they are, balancing empathy and understanding with honesty and gentle challenge. My goal is to help you feel seen and supported while also encouraging growth, self-reflection, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My goal is for you to feel like you can be open & honest without fear judgment, so we can process your issues in a safe & empathetic space! I use a collaborative, conversational approach that emphasizes talk therapy over directive techniques, but still offering support and guidance as you explore how your experiences, relationships, thoughts, and feelings impact your daily life. I use elements of person-centered therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, feminist theories, solution focused therapy, & exploration of relationships/attachments in my work.

What you can expect from me

Robert Frost said, “The only way out is through.” I take that to heart in my work as a therapist. I’m here to walk with my clients through grief, depression, anxiety, and the challenges of life, by fully embracing and exploring the healing journey together. In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your experiences and goals, while creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. Together, we’ll begin to lay the foundation for meaningful growth and change.
