Great to meet you!

Originally from Texas, I moved to Kentucky and pursued a Master of Arts in Mental Health counseling and Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy at Asbury Theological Seminary. I am passionate about working with clients and their families navigating conflicts and implementing empathic and assertive communication. My other specialties include walking alongside clients with complications in grief, depression, and faith issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize an array of approaches tailored to each client, including Client-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and EMDR. My clients and I typically focus on areas of communication, sense of self, grief, and depression though sometimes including other topics as requested by clients. Each of my clients enjoys weekly challenges as means to practically apply the tools from session in their daily lives.

What you can expect from our first session

In session, my clients can expect a warm and inviting environment where they can unpack the trials and dilemmas they are navigating, while also being gently challenged to consider various perspectives or alternatives . Each week I provide tailored challenges to clients including tools from session for clients to practice.
