Great to meet you!

Life’s challenges can often feel overwhelming, leaving you stuck in patterns of stress, fear, or self-doubt. If you feel weighed down by perfectionism, anxiety, or the constant pressure to meet high expectations, you are not alone. I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to break free from these cycles, and my goal is to provide a supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow.

I specialize in working with high achievers, professionals, and individuals navigating life transitions who struggle with perfectionism, chronic stress, emotional regulation, self-criticism, and anxiety-related concerns. My approach integrates neuroscience-based and evidence-informed techniques to help you develop healthier thought patterns, regulate emotions effectively, and build resilience.

I hold a Master of Social Work from St. Ambrose University and a Master of Clinical Psychology from Loras College, with specialized training in neuroscience. With 13 years of experience in mental health and wellness, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including executives, physicians, professionals, students, and those experiencing major life transitions. My background in social work and clinical psychology allows me to take an integrative approach that considers both the psychological and physiological aspects of well-being.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is holistic, neuroscience-informed, and solution-focused. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients cultivate self-awareness, shift limiting beliefs, and build emotional resilience. I also incorporate somatic awareness techniques to address the mind-body connection in emotional processing and stress management.

Therapy with me is collaborative, non-judgmental, and tailored to your individual needs. Together, we will explore the underlying patterns contributing to your struggles and develop practical strategies to help you regain control and move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first sessions, we will work together to understand your unique challenges, identify goals, and create a personalized plan for growth. Sessions are interactive and insight-driven, offering you tools and perspectives that you can apply in your daily life. You can expect to take away:

  • A deeper understanding of your thought patterns and emotional triggers
  • Practical strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and self-doubt
  • Techniques for emotional regulation and resilience-building
  • Greater self-compassion and confidence in your ability to navigate challenges

I believe that meaningful change is possible, and I am committed to helping you develop the skills and insights needed to create a more balanced, fulfilling life. If you are ready to take the next step, I would love to support you on this journey.
