The therapy I provide is relationship-based, systems-focused, and trauma-informed.
That’s a lot of “therapy language” to say:
Building trust with you is the first priority in our work together. We practice working through things together, so you feel more prepared to practice out in the “real world.”
You don’t live in a bubble, so I am interested in the relationships and environment you grew up in and live in now.
We often have experiences that stick with us, so I use my experience working with trauma to better inform and help you heal from childhood, relationship, or recent traumas. I utilize a lot of neurobiology in this work so we understand together why your brain and nervous system may be responding differently than how you think it “should.”
My primary therapeutic styles and theories includ Interpersonal Neurobiology, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
