I have been in education for 24 years and have worked with junior high age children all 24 of those years. I have also been working in the substance abuse field for 15 years with both children and adults. I also have a sub-specialty working with felons. I love my beautiful outlaw people :)
I believe that you are your own best counselor and will work with you to help you identify some negative core beliefs and thought patterns that may be contributing to your feeling of discontentment and also help you identify patterns that keep repeating in your life. This is a judgment free zone and my goal is to help you on your self-awareness and improvement journey and to empower you to achieve your personal goals.
During our first session, I will ask you what your goals are for therapy and will spend the time getting to know you and your present situation.
