Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) I have been privileged to work with teens and adults for the past 8 years as they navigate many of life's challenges from anxiety and depression to coping with ADHD or challenging life circumstances. I worked for 5 years in DeKalb IL as a social worker prior to moving to CO. I see IL and CO clients virtually. My professional experiences in school social work and with domestic violence survivors along with my personal experiences of being a working mother, active community member, runner, reader, aspiring gardner and terrible bread maker all shape my approach to supporting my clients.

My approach to therapy

I have found that utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment Based Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy approaches to be most effective in supporting my clients to achieve their therapy goals. I strive to keep up to date and informed in research and best practices. I also utilize social thinking methods.

What you can expect from me

I find that therapy can be a life changing relationship helping people achieve personal goals, discover their authentic self, heal and nurture relationships, and strengthen reliance. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I hope to connect with you and support you in reach your mental health goals.
