Welcome! I have been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 29 years. I completed my bachelors degree at UC Santa Barbara and my masters at Phillips Graduate Institute. My 3000 internship hours were completed at Foothill Family Service and at Pasadena Psychiatric Medical Group focused on providing group therapy to children and therapy for adults with work-related injuries.
My experience includes working with trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, women's issues, relationships, and work-related stress. I utilize a systems and psychodynamic model with therapy tools such as mindfulness and CBT. However, every person is unique, and I strive to give you an individualized approach to what you need.
In the first session, I will be gathering information from you about your background, family history, and reasons for starting therapy. During all sessions, I will provide a warm, safe, and respectful environment to help you feel comfortable to meet your therapy goals. You and I will work together as a team in order to achieve these goals.
