Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with close to three years of experience working in psychiatric outpatient settings, including providing care through telehealth and community clinics. I bring extensive experience in the mental health field, supported by a strong clinical foundation developed across diverse healthcare settings. Prior to becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I worked as a Registered Nurse in acute inpatient psychiatric units, detoxification and rehabilitation programs, and crisis response centers throughout the Philadelphia area.

These experiences provided me with in-depth exposure to a wide range of psychiatric conditions and levels of acuity, strengthening my ability to assess, stabilize, and support individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments. This background has been instrumental in shaping my clinical approach as a PMHNP, allowing me to deliver compassionate, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care across the continuum of mental health treatment.

In addition to my healthcare experience, my military service has significantly shaped the quality of care I provide. As a veteran, I understand the importance of resilience, discipline, integrity, and service to others. My military background has enhanced my ability to remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and approach complex situations with empathy and professionalism. It has also given me a deeper appreciation for the unique mental health challenges faced by veterans, service members, first responders, and individuals navigating high-stress environments.

By combining my clinical expertise with the values and experiences gained through military service, I strive to provide patient-centered psychiatric care that is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and focused on helping individuals achieve lasting mental wellness and improved quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My personalized approach to mental health care prioritizes the individual needs of each client. I emphasize building strong therapeutic relationships, allowing clients to feel comfortable and supported throughout their treatment journey.

I take the time to build meaningful therapeutic relationships, creating a supportive and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered in their treatment journey.

My approach extends beyond symptom management by incorporating a holistic view of mental wellness. In addition to addressing psychiatric concerns, I consider factors such as lifestyle, stress, sleep, nutrition, relationships, and overall well-being to develop comprehensive treatment plans that promote lasting improvement and a higher quality of life.

What you can expect from me

I am dedicated to fostering mental wellness and emotional strength through our compassionate, individualized care. My goal is to establish a nurturing and safe environment where individuals can freely confront and navigate their mental health challenges. My years of experience enable me to employ evidence-based practices to deliver effective treatments tailored to each client’s unique needs. I firmly believe that everyone has the right to experience peace of mind and lead a fulfilling life, and I am here to support you on your path to serenity and well-being.

As a PMNHP, I can support clients facing various challenges in the following ways: 1. Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to tailor treatment plans. 2. Therapy: Use evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT to address anxiety, depression, and PTSD. 3. Medication Management: Evaluate the need for medication and monitor its effectiveness.
