Great to meet you!

I have been practicing social work for 15 years with the last 3 in the field of counseling/therapy. I attended Southern University and A&M College and Tulane University's School of Social Work where I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science in Social Work degrees respectively. I have worked in what is considered the trenches, community health, and now healthcare. Helping you reach your goal is my passion.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic. I consider your entire life - who and what influences you, your daily demands, self-care practices, and your authenticity with yourself to help you reach your goal is in the best way possible. I like to focus on the mind, body, and spirit as they are all are interconnected. I empower you to help you live your best life. I use a combination of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from me

During your first session you can expect warmth, empathy, and rapport building. You can also expect a calm and laid-back session that is focused on you. Together, we will get you where you desire to be mentally and emotionally.
