Great to meet you!

My name is Mona Suca. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over fifteen years of experience providing therapy to a diverse population of children and adults. I work with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, low self-esteem, and life transitions.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in creating a safe space where you feel heard and understood without judgment. I believe healing begins with connection. Together, we will explore the patterns that may be holding you back, strengthen coping skills, and work toward building a more balanced and meaningful life.

Seeking support is a brave step, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward growth and emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. At the same time, I deeply understand that each person’s story, background, and lived experiences are unique. Because of this, I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment.

My work integrates a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet clients where they are. I draw from traditional talk therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in gaining insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful change.

I strive to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Whether we are exploring long-standing patterns, processing difficult emotions, or working toward specific goals, I partner with my clients to ensure therapy feels supportive, practical, and aligned with their individual needs.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you are invited to share your story at your own pace. This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic foundation.

We will explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss past experiences and current challenges, and identify the goals you hope to work toward. I may ask questions to better understand your background, strengths, and supports, but there is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work we can do together to create meaningful and lasting change.
