Great to meet you!

Something is making it harder to show up the way you want to, in your relationships, in your daily life, or just inside yourself. Whether you're a teen trying to figure out who you are, an adult carrying something that's been building for a while, or a family that keeps hitting the same wall, I'd love to work with you. I'm Monee, an LMFT with a background in school and community settings, and I work with kids, teens, and adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and the life transitions that shake things up. As a Black woman, I also offer a culturally grounded space for clients who want a therapist who understands that lived experience from the inside. Clients often describe me as compassionate, honest, and empowering. That's exactly what I'm going for.

My approach to therapy

Our work is built around your goals, not a set agenda. We name what's getting in the way, look at how your thoughts, feelings, and relationships connect, and build strategies that actually fit your life. I balance reflection with action. I'll help you understand the patterns that have been running things, and I'll make sure you leave with something practical you can use. I work best with people who want a therapist who is warm but doesn't avoid hard conversations, and who are ready to be genuinely challenged.

What you can expect from me

The first session is low pressure. We'll talk about what's been going on, what you're hoping for, and what has or hasn't worked before. If you're a parent bringing in your child or teen, I'll take time to understand what the whole family has been navigating. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of my style and whether we're a good fit. Questions are welcome. When you're ready, reach out.
